Meet Sarah

Sarah Bruno is a certified speech therapist, singer, creative empath, and nature enthusiast. Her purpose and passion in life is to communicate with care while helping others.

Sarah has worked with children and families over the past 20 years enhancing their communication skills. She has provided her supports and services across a variety of settings, including homes, childcare centers, schools, and local communities throughout Connecticut.

Life has taken her on many journeys, from being born with a rare syndrome to overcoming her own voice disorder. These paths have taught her to look within, reconnect with herself, and heal her physical and authentic voice. She has taken all that she has learned to ignite her passion for helping clients who have also lost their voice.

In addition to providing Voice Therapy Services and Communication Support, Sarah strives to bring Voice Work to creatives, neurodiverse individuals, and sensitives like herself. She infuses her experience as a singer, expressive artist, and cocreator of Nature-Inspired Feelings to nurture peace, relaxation, mindfulness, and connection within.

Sarah’s love and excitement for nature and singing has fueled her soul since she was a child. She resides in Connecticut with her husband and two children where they enjoy creating music, gardening, hiking, foraging, and anything that gets their hands dirty. And of course, she loves to talk!

What people are saying…

“It felt awakening to have the opportunity to sing and then have a visual to inspire movement and voice.  It just makes me smile like a kid.”

- Deborah Goslin from NatureSpeake, Forest Therapy Guide & Naturalist

"I have never experienced vocal play before and that was definitely something which I will bring into my own personal practices. The journal prompts and art practices were excellent for helping me tap into myself in a deep and meaningful way.”

- Lizzie from Seawyld, Nature Connection Guide

“Sarah provided training to my early childhood staff on the implementation of communication strategies. She effectively supported the communication needs through a play-based, multi-sensory approach. Sarah is a very special person; she is creative, fun, pleasant, and compassionate. Her professional skill set and commitment to enhancing communication are a source of inspiration to all who have the good fortune of working with her.”

-Sherri Facas, Special Education Teacher

“Sarah is one of the most knowledgeable speech pathologists I have worked with in my many years as a school psychologist. She is exceptionally talented at working with young children who are non-verbal or have limited speech ability. She is kind and compassionate and dedicated to helping children communicate their needs, wants, and feelings to peers and adults.”
